What version of MetaCard are you using? There were problems with some
16-bit WAV files in previous releases, but we don't know of any
problems like this with 2.3.1. If you're using 2.3.1, please email
one of the sound files you're having trouble with to
[EMAIL PROTECTED]

AIFF. Also note that the data in some sound files is compressed and
that the MetaCard "play" command doesn't support playback of these
files on any platform. You might be able to use the player object to
play them with QuickTime, however.
