Unfortunately setting this prop (playloudness) , say with a
scollbar (scalebar), only works when there is no player playing.
At least on my W98 PC.
Try this:
New stack.
New player with a sound-file.
A scrollbar (ranging from 0 to 100) with this script:
on scrollbardrag the_value
set the playloudness to the_value
end scrollbardrag
Start the player, drag the scrollbar... no effect.
Stop the player, drag again and start the player again...
now the volume has changed...
Hm...
