first winNT4 box) to search and parse mixed datas - including MSSQL Server 6.5
datas (stored on a second winNT4 box) - to the web (for what i know about that,
Metacard is clearly better than J2EE, Zope or WebObjects to build complex web
applications solutions).

Not there. The vpn network i'm working on, this time, is not dedicaced to
replace web browsers/httpd technologies.
Resume of the process used there : On the client-side, some hundreds of mc-based
spreadsheet-apps are used by high-schools managers (from win95/98 boxes) to
build and store financial and administrative projections and, than, send those
datas to a central database server (linux) trough the web. The datas are, for
yet, received as ftp files on the web server and, than, stored on a MySQL
database by an mc app. Some autorised persons are using a second kind of
mc-based spreadsheet-app to reread the datas from the server.
This product is not in the definitive form i want to have it working in the
future : the ftp protocol has been first used because i could'nt implement the
"POST" method in the first production-issue of my mc spreadsheet-apps. The
second version will speak directly to the MySQL database trough an mc web/vpn
application server (first developped to manage e-com processes) in using an
issue of the "POST" request method.
With the help of Michael Kann and Andu (thank's again, friends !) about the
"POST" management from within mc, we are far ok about that, even if i did'nt
found, for yet, the way about how to send more than 5 K of "post" datas at once.
When this last problem will be away (any idea, some one ?), i will speak about
the method used to cook the complete vpn process used there ;-)
