I am relatively new to meteorites, but If I had experienced these drops in value over the past year: > CR2: $200-300/GR. now $20-18/gr. > R4 - 3.9: $500/gr. now $40/gr. > SNC $2000-1000/gr. now $500-200/gr. > Lunar $35.000/gr. now $5000 - 1000/gr. and then chased this new find at $15/gm just to see it a week later at $2/gm, this would not be my idea of fun.  These look like NASDAQ price ranges.  And they may be more like the NASDAQ then we would hope, spectacular prices, never to be seen again. >From my limited vantage point, I see buckets of Saharans and Sikhotes and loaves of Brahin slices on ebay.  Someone commented that Bessey is relatively new to meteorites but it looks to me like he's got the best grasp on the impact of ebay and the internet. glenmore ---------- From: Martin Horejsi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Subject: Re: [meteorite-list] a little collector advice........
