i had an email from a buyer telling me how happy he was with the meteorite, then days later he filed a claim saying it never arrived. I sent first class $10 meteorite, and could not prove it. I showed eBay and Paypal the email proof of the buyer thanking me for the nice specimen, you know what they said? "Too bad, email communications with buyers don't count, only shipping proof". The con man got a refund and I got screwed. That was two years ago, my eBay sales have dropped 99%, no more auctions and only some store items left selling very slowly. I used to sell $30-60,000 a year on ebay! now perhaps $1000-3000. I guess their business geniuses figured that the $10 item i got stolen from me would not piss me off so badly. They were dead wrong, and it is costing them a lot of money. Multiply that by millions of pissed-off sellers and now you know why ebay is dropping like a rock revenue-wise.
