When I was a kid, I bought a one-square-inch Yukon gold mining claim from Sgt. Preston (Quaker Oats?). Unfortunately, I misplaced the "official" deed. But, no loss (other than sentimental value), as I heard the claims were allowed to lapse in the '60s.
