Just read this one. You are way off my friend.
First of all, the email regarding Erwin had absolutely nothing to do with
you. You know I have always held you in high regard as one of the best
dealers in the business and you are responsible for supplying a huge
percentage of my collection.
Secondly nobody uses me for anything. Im nobodys B**CH I assure you.What I
wrote praising Erwin was out of pure gratitude. The guy offered me as well
as some other collectors a free sample of the Carancas meteorite. That's it.
And no, you will not see me touting anybody's auctions.

using Bob Evans to promote his ebay auctions, nothing
more, since he is not a list member. Wait for it, as

Since Bob Evans hasn't addressed that yet (and I'd
love to see a definitive
answer, too) just looking at the description of the
"auction" (which is just a
display of photos) it looks like maybe he had
earlier misphrased things to make
it look like he meant to give away free samples when
what he was really trying
to do was show the photos, and then just honored the
buyer(s) who "bought" that
way. Just a guess, of course. But if he really is
giving them away, I don't
see it advertised in his auctions or his web site.
