I know I had problems importing IGES surfaces when I first started using
SmartCam FFM. The customer provided the IGES files and I believe they were
created in Pro-E. The fix for my importing problem was to go to the import
button, then click surface modes button, then make the settings as follows.
I hope this helps someone, cause I have not had any importing problems since
then.
Wireframe Mesh Settings
virtual mesh tolerance .001 X
Non-uniform Correction
Boundary tangent angle 5.0000 ( ) initial
