Some controls will let you mid-program restart, but I am assuming you have tried that. For a simple method, why not just split the program in half and run two identical tools for 1 hour each? That way, you can establish where the switch over is, you can ignore the machine, and your tool won't get so dull that it begins to cause the geometry to suffer.
