If you cannot create the tapered shape you want, why not start with the basic straight blank and use a "dummy" tool to turn the blank to the tapered form first. Then do your show cut, and when it is time to code either mask the tool off, delete it, group save it...

I want to create a material layer for use in show cut that is tapered. The first operation is on a lathe, and turns the part to a 15.5 degree included angle, starting at 1.0 inch dia, extending 2. inches along, then straightening out. Is there anyway of creating this for showcut material?
