Jon,   I've attached a sample file. Check the element data of the first profile. See the level and profile top. Make sure you include at least one arc in the profile, so that AUTO Planes will be generated when you rotate the first profile. I rotated the profile in the YZ_PLANE, 10 degrees, 17 copies.   It makes a crude blank, but what the heck, you're going to take a finish cut, aren't you?   Gene Bowen      Subject: [mfg-smartcam] tapered layers for material I want to create a material layer for use in show cut that is tapered.  The first operation is on a lathe, and turns the part to a 15.5 degree included angle, starting at 1.0 inch dia, extending 2. inches along, then straightening out.  Is there anyway of creating this for showcut material?  Thanks Jon
