This macro will change the profile top properties of elements in the active group. It was intended to eliminate the excessive "air cutting" when plunging to multiple depth passes with toolpath created by a roughing process. It can also be used to define unusual stock geometry from a mesh of closed layer profiles to be used in Show Cut . The first profile in the active group is handled separately. If the first element in the group has a profile top value, that value is used for the first profile. If the first element has no profile top value, then the elements Z level is used for the first profile. I milling some simple square pockets with V11 FFM. The pocket is 1.5 dp and I would like to take 4 passes of .375 d.o.c. I am using the pocket function defining a boundry and user start point. The problem is after the first pass , z rapids to the next cut level instead of feeding. How can I control this ?
