Subject: [mfg-smartcam] using G52 or G92

Hi gang,
I have a part I am working on making more productive, the part is small,
1/8 x 13/16 x 1 1/4 long and I am going to run it in two 4" double lock
vises. The rear station will hold two parts, one out each side, and the
front station the same. This will make 8 parts for two vises.
This is a repeat job, and I plan on running it often. The two vises are
mounted on an aluminum plate, which is bolted to the table. There is a
tooling hole at dead center of the plate, and I have the vises all laid out
in layers.
I currently have each part identified as a new fixture offset, G54, G55,
etc., but I want to just have one fixture offset, at the tooling hole, and
have G52 or G92 location shifts for each part zero.
So, how do I do this? What does a tmp file look like that will do this,
and allow me to jump from part to part to part, countersinking the one hole
in each.

    Thanks for your input.
Jon
