Bill,There are no strange moves if you don't use the code-generator I enclosed. The strange moves occur using SHOW_CUT or SHOW_PATH when my code-generator is involved. Which means that the problem is with my code-generator doesn't it? But what?
Smart Cam isn't that smart when it comes to show path or cut. It doesn't work like a real time machine. Just shows the surface cuts or holes in the parts. Not taking into account the clearances or retracts for tool changes.
You would think that it would act like a machine since the program is being used to create code for your CNC machines, but it doesn't.
Your code generator shouldn't be that much of a problem. It's smart cam.
