If EDS should drop this forum we can all move to another place. I'm sure there will be advanced notice. Michael and Kelly were talking about this some time ago, although I think Kelly would like to turn the keys to his site over to someone (correct me if I'm wrong, Kelly).

Sigh. User ownership. Wouldn't THAT have been wonderful.

If SmartCam is no longer supported, this list will be more important to us than ever.....

I personally plan on squeezing every last Kilobyte of code out of SC, until it doesn't run.  I have experience with UG and other software and they are  good packages, but I don't see the need.  With the list intact we will collectively be able to answer our FAQ's and solve our problems, and keep going...  With SC's macro capabilities, and UNLIMITED ability to build Code Generators, I'm sorry, but know one came come close to the flexibility.

I also would like to encourage, that if some of you do bite the bullet and move on to other CAM packages, that you will remain on the list and keep us posted on what you are learning.

I wish we had a time machine, so we could go back and do a "Users Buyout" of Point Control......
