Okay Gary,

I've done the changes for you.

Using the attached file the output will now read something like:-

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THERE ARE 62 TOOLS USED ON PROGRAMME NUMBER 1234

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Is that okay???

Regards,

Bill.

Hi Gary,

I don't use a macro for this but another template file. Code the part again and use a different template file to produce a tooling list. Here are a some samples. Hope this helps!

Bill.

Subject: [mfg-smartcam] Macro question. No of tool in a program

I am looking for a macro or some ideas on how to create one to do the following.

I would like to know how many tools are used in a particular program.

For instance the last project had 62 tools, this is a lot of counting manually.

It would be nice to run a macro that returns the number of tools used in the current program.

Thank you for your input.

Regards,
Gary
