Ed, I have had good success with the following connection. 9 pin com port to 25 pin machine 2 to 2 3 to 3 5 to 7 1,4,6 jumpered
on the 9 pin side 7,8 jumpered on the 9 pin side 4,5 jumpered on the 25 pin side 6,8,20 jumpered on the 25 pin side pin 25 to outer shielding -----Original
