RE: [mfg-smartcam] SmartCAM / freezing up

The disabling of ctfmon.exe worked for us using Windows XP, but our IT geeks are telling us that we should not do this because ctfmon.exe is an important feature that may cause MS Office products to Blue screen on us.   For me it's worth the risk, so here is the question, have any of you guys experienced problems with MS Office Word, Excell? If yes, what kind of problems, if no, please tell me that also so I show the IT geeks that in the real world, it really isn't a problem.
