   The size constraints of a computer case limits foam options a lot.  Found a 
link for this being done with melamine foam:

   Melamine is stiffer foam which I think doesn't become particles; it's also 
not the optimum foam for sound deadening.

   No filters; holes in the case are directly to the open air.  There is a 
tiny amount of airflow sneaking past a partition beyond which was a rackmount 
UPS that has a fan on the side.

   I wonder how often it's necessary to go buy liquid nitrogen for the thing.  
Not something you want to try on a box you want to be available all the time.
