A while back I posted:

"A friend has gotten herself an iMac and is getting rid of her old PC.
Anyone
want it before it goes to the recycler?"

It's an IBM Aptiva 275, with 475 MHz AMD K2, 10 GB disk, 64 MB RAM,
CD ROM, 14 inch Compaq monitor w/ speakers, modem card (possibly not
Linux compatible), keyboard, mouse, Ethernet card (I think), 2 open slots,
2 USB ports. Should be around 8 or 9 years old. I was unable to boot
Ubuntu 6.06 on it. Disk is reformatted to DOS to wipe it. I'm going to keep
the printer and see if I can get the color printing working.

Last call for the whole system OR for parts. Tuesday morning I have to get
rid of the thing, and I'll keep the keyboard, mouse, and floppy drive
for spare
parts, and maybe the power supply for future projects. Anyone want the
monitor? It's smallish, but works nicely. Should I save any parts for anyone
(modem card, Ethernet card, HDD, MB,...)? Let me know ASAP.
