You will need to Google on that.  I have a Garmin 60CSx handheld unit
and it only supports up to 2gig cards and has a stricter limit on the
number of map segments that can be downloaded.   The format of the
MicroSD cards change going up from 2gig and your GPS firmware would need
to be capable of dealing with it.   Rumor is floating around that
firmware updates can fix this issue.
