In the past, I had a very good experience with mags.net in Connecticut.
Lately, I've been using interserver.net and I've been very happy with them
(thanks to Porkchop for the recommendation after The Space went away).
They're dedicated hosting, I don't know if they do colocation per se (i.e.
your server, their site).  I would be inclined to try linode if I were in the
market.

I agree with Russell, I think these days you're better off not having your own
hardware.  Let somebody else deal with the backups and fried mobos.  Most of
us just want a safe place to run our apps.
