Last week a salesperson from Verizon called and told me that FIOS TV was available to me. I asked her to check and make sure. She confirmed it.
Further, I went to the Verizon website and put in my telephone number 845-297-XXXX which is a Wappingers exchange. Sure enough it offered me the Tripple Freedom Bundle which is Phone, Internet and their Premium TV package. At the time I told the person to call me back in a week so I could research what things I wanted: routers, converter boxes, premium channels, etc. I'm now confused by what Sean said below. Does anyone know what Verizon is really doing to us in the Mid-Hudson Valley? Have I been selected as a test customer? Who franchises them, the town, county or state?
