I run itunes on a windows partition for my computer, but most of the time I'm in Ubuntu (10.04) One thing I've noticed that's a bit annoying is that if my iPod is plugged into the computer while linux is running, linux will mount the iPod (not intrinsically a big deal) and later on when I unplug the iPod all the "played" flags get reset on my podcasts. This isn't a show stopper, but it's a bit annoying having to fast forward through everything I've listened to again. Is there a way to get Ubuntu to ignore my iPod?
