Thank you Chris, I lost my way there, non-libre is never acceptable ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gratis_versus_Libre ) I removed the VirtualBox non-free and found the VirtualBox-OSE PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:debfx/virtualbox My apologies, I'm a free man once again!
