Usage restrictions: You can register the already downloaded EasyTether for
$9.99, PayPal and all credit cards are accepted. EasyTether Lite will block
secure sites (https) after some time, http sites will work forever though.

10.6/10.5/10.4, and Ubuntu 10.4+
Steps:
1. Install EasyTether from Andriod market.
2. Start and run the setup wizard. Select Ubuntu.
3. Wizard will download the .deb file required for Ubuntu onto the phone.
4. Continue with the Wizard's steps until you see the "Enable USB
tethering service" is checked.
4. Switch phone from "charge only" to "Disk Drive" mode.
5. Find and install the .deb file. (can leave phone as disk drive or
switch back to "charge only")
6. Open a Term and type:
$ easytether connect
connection established
run 'sudo dhclient easytether0' to configure the network interface
press Ctrl-C to disconnect
(if this fails, you most likely don't have tether on, or the phone is
not seen by the OS or in the wrong mode)
7. Start ANOTHER term and type:
$ sudo dhclient easytether0
[sudo] password for itsupport: *********
