Droid 1:  Not bad; now dated and slow.
Droid 2:  Terrible.  Avoid at all costs.
Droid 3:  After some initial problems i had to debug (looks like a bug
between the network restore and the droid3 wifi setup methods) it's not
bad.  Quick and the best mobile keyboard I've ever used.

I'll let others speak to the non-physical-keyboard models.
