This morning I got an email from the Library System. Due to budget cuts,
and thus shifting priorities, we will no longer be able to use the
Auditorium starting in 2012. So after almost 9 years, MHVLUG is going to
be on the venue hunt.
Marist College has always been a great supporter, so we'll be following
those leads first.
But, I wanted to open this up to a larger audience. If anyone else here
has additional ideas about venues that could support 50 people in/around
Poughkeepsie (we had 46 for Ed's talk), please let me know. I want to
make sure we consider all options. We have members that have a lot of
connections in the community, and I'd like to tap into that.
We're having our quarterly leadership meeting tonight (open to anyone
that wants to help -

going to be the top item on the agenda.
