After the last talk on distributed auth, I started doing some research on how to make it simpler for people to log into our website without creating yet another account. Most large internet properties (google, yahoo) act as openid providers, though it's a bit cryptic on how to use it.

Fortunately there is a nice openid_selector piece of javascript that does the heavy lifting. So now you can log in with any of these other providers from the front page.

If you already have an account and want to use other credentials instead, log in, then go to http://mhvlug.org/user and the OpenID Identities tab. If you click on any of those providers while logged in, it will link them to your account.
