More like it's a device that merely happens to be a phone, but will be used for purposes *but* a phone. We're talking address book, checklists, memo pads, calendar, etc. If you happen to have Jpilot on your Linux system, look at the functions it was able to sync with PalmOS (except for GNUkeyring, which could probably easily be substituted with keepass).
