Just remember POE isn't all the same.
There's POE to networking people - 802.3af or 802.3at. Then there's
POE to "random device manufacturer", where they push some random
voltage over the wires and CALL it POE. Devices from the two types
will profoundly disagree with being plugged into the other type, so
read the fine print.
Generally once you have the POE solution (either buying injectors for
AF or AT) or you plug in the adapter they provide with the device it
works fine.
Remember that you're extending a conductor out to where-ever you
install the camera. Lightning is not your friend.
