My biggest gripe so far is that each manufacturer has their own - and
usually very bad - interface to access their cameras. I'm hesitant to jump
into an all-in-one kit yet without knowing the true quality and usability
of a system. I'm playing with components as I upgrade pieces of my network
anyway so hopefully i can find some combination of stuff that works. I'm
finding it tough to get a single client for an android device, mac, ipad,
and windows. I may have to throw together a small pc with linux running
zone minder and just use a web interface, as crappy as it may be.
