Lots of NOS FM1 intercoolers and tons of leftover new intake parts
almost free. Make sure you cut slots between the runners on the flange
so the manifold doesn't crack. Without an aux fuel pump or larger
injectors, 5-6 psi is safe. Check the Idle Air Valve on the plenum and
the tps idle contacts. Idle speed will be controlled by air flow, not
fuel mixture.

That possible turbo Miata in the last message?

I'm sure by now you've heard of Jay Lamm (of "Stinky" fame) and his
current lunacy, the 24 Hours of LeMons. If you haven't:
http://24hoursoflemons.com/

Well, my boss and I have acquired a sub-$500 miata, and have nearly sold
enough bits off of it to pay for the $500 Greddy bits we bought off
Craigslist. We appear to have an Greddy manifold and a good TD04H, along
with a Vortech FMU (this is just an AFPR, no?) and the oil lines for the
turbo.

So, we need intake plumbing and a BOV, right? What else do we need to
scrounge to get this working...and how much of it is laying around in
your garages waiting to be sold cheap (*very* cheap) to the official
racing team of Miatapower.Net?

What's a reasonable target for a stock ECU with the AFPR? 6psi? Less?

Also, the thing basically can't idle when it's cold. It will start up
with a little coaxing, but then the idle speed just slowly drops off to
zero. Runs great once it's warmed up. I haven't spent much time on it
beyond replacing the temp. sender (at Rick Weldon's suggestion), which
helped, but didn't solve the problem. IAC is next to look at... any
other ideas?
