Yes they do and unfortunately my company just got the bright idea to stop
using them.  Instead they text me to my phone which means I need to write
everything down and read it when I'm calling a customer or the office since
I can't read it and use the phone at the same time.  Also, at least in
coastal SC, the pager coverage is much better than the cell phone coverage
when you get out into the boonies.
