Head comes with a 2 year warranty. I'm willing to bet taping the head would void that. I know there is little chance of it going out on me in 2 years under normal driving. But I would rather have the warranty.
I will say though, I wont order a head from them again. it's in good shape but a few of the exhaust studs were not put back in after they cleaned it up. one of the camshaft caps is put in backwards. there is paint over spray in all the ports and what not. was pressed for time, AutoX starts 19th here in Helena MT. Thanks for the suggestions though. We are going to try some more today.
