I think the idea was to try to get a little better compression, a little more power for the same boost. A ring that seals better sure seems like a good idea, and it's an easy mod while the engine is being built.
Anyhow, since I'm getting a resounding "Hell no" both here and on the power forum, I'm keeping the oil squirters and just using the rings that came with the Wisecos.
