Sorry, I should have clarified my question a little more.

I've already completed coarse and fine tuning. Jeremy at FM has helped me
tune it even further, so I'm comfortable with the tune. I have Lambda L3
turned on to take care of the day to day operation.

Back in 2000, I had a stereo shop design a custom mount for my keypad in the
center console. But recently I purchased a short console from Japan, so the
keypad has no place to "live" now. I'm thinking that I should just leave it
disconnected. What I may do is leave it connected but have it in the glove
box. It'll reside in a Crown Royal bag so it won't get scratched up.

I've gotten used to having the keypad connected all the time and scrolling
through the screens, keeping an eye on the engine. So being without this
info is a new thing for me. In the past, whenever I didn't have the keypad
attached, the car felt "funny". But I'm chalking this up to not having the
info in front of me.

But before I do this, I wanted to ensure that L3 still operates and is doing
it's thing even though the keypad is not attached.

It's just like when doing datalogging. When the keypad is disconnected
nothing can be saved.

Does the Link still autotune with Lambda L3 without the keypad attached?
I'm pretty sure it does, but wanted to veify.

    Thanks
