Propane injection is somewhat common in Japan actually. The system is a
vapor injection system. The "injectors" are really duty solenoids with an
orifice tuned to the fuel pressure and engine needs (like gasoline). There
is also a regulator in the system taking the fuel pressure down to 10psi or
less (if I remember right). This is a very viable system but not one I'd
like to takle on a one-off retrofit basis. Too much design and development
involved.

PM
Hey everybody,
Just for giggles I've been looking at propane as an alternative fuel.
I've got a 500 gallon tank of it in my back yard, so it's a bit tempting
to see how to run the car on it. Most of the google searches come up
with what is essentially a carburetor conversion.
Assuming I already have a programmable ecu, does anyone know what else
is required to run propane? I can't find anything on injecting it in
liquid form.
Thanks
-chuck
