Awww... c'mon Jim, this is kind of funny. If you read the whole thing the parking enforcement company was actually in breach of contract for overbilling. Yes, the home owner parked incorrectly by not showing his parking badge properly. However, I found great humor when he dollied the car into his garage and offered the boots back to the agency while the actual police were standing right there.

With this guy, the fact is that he bought the home in that community because it was the only home he could buy in the entire region.

Nice find BTW. The original thread on the forum that started this got locked. I've been jonesing for an update all week!

No one HAS to live in a CC&R community. It is still a free country. People can choose where they want to live, or not. And real estate developers can choose how they decide to develop their land, or not, either with or without CC&Rs. It's all about choice.
 
The fact is, people buy homes in CC&R communities simply because history has proven that homes in CC&R controlled neighborhoods appreciate at a faster rate. See attached.
