My comments on Walbro failures are not based on personal experience, but
from speaking to Miata owners on the tech line every day. They have a
failure rate high enough that it doesn't surprise me any more when I
hear of one. I've also heard of multiple failures for the same
individual.

Pierburgs, on the other hand, are pretty much bombproof.

Unfortunate experiences you've had. My Walbro has been fine
since adding it back in, oh...whenever it was that I upgraded to FM II.
When was that... 2002 or 2003 or so?
