Easy to check the neutral and clutch switches. The keypad tells you N in
the idle window if either is engaged. As Rob suggested, check your tps,
too. That also shows in the idle window, as an asterisk when throttle is
closed.

Subject: Link ECU Idle and Overrun issues

Hey

Let me start off by lauding this ECU for my 1.6 Turbo'd 1990. I've got a
TD04 turbo, RX-7 550cc injectors, Webcam 505 cams, an LC-1 and a 2.5"
exhaust. The car drives fine save for a couple of idle issues, namely;

- The car will idle in neutral fine for a while then the revs will rise
to 1500 rpm while in idle and in neutral. Idle returns to normal when
the clutch is depressed. I've been doing some reading on miata.net and
gather that the issue is related to a neutral switch.

- The other issue relates to overrun map under 2k rpm. The car bucks
like a bronco despite my efforts to set this parameter in accordance
with the FM instructions.

Any advice or tips on a cure for one or other of these idiosyncrasies of
the link would be appreciated.

Thanks

PS: Any one out there have a map that could mail me for the td04 turbo,
webcam 505 and the link ecu
