It depends in part on how you drive and partly luck. The VLSD in my wife's Voodoo II Miata is working just fine, Bill's lasted for around 80k on his 1990 and was still working when it was pulled. Some people stick with it due to cost (replacing a damaged VLSD is about 15% the price of a Torsen swap) or class regulations. STS autocrossers, for example. Anyhow, I wouldn't throw one away. There are definitely people looking for them.

The suspension arms are rather rusty, so I am going to skip pulling them. All other items available cheap. Any suggestions on best way to get rid of a stripped Miata carcass?
