That's a new one. Hard to tell from the pics, but can you rotate it on
the hose end to relieve that? Maybe the barb placement on the pan is off
a little? Can you show a pic going into the pan?

Yes, I can twist it and make the braid look the same way out of the car.
It still has plenty of flex in it with the twist in like that.

If you bend the braided section at that same angle when it's off
the car, does it kink up the same way?

                Howdy Power List!

I'm having a problem with the hard oil drain line on my
new FM2 kit. When I get my hard line connected on the pan and tightened
on the turbo, it twists at the SS line section. Here's a few photos.

1 & 2 are from the top. 3 is from the bottom.

I've taken it off and on a few times in an effort to
somehow put it on differently. Been very careful each time to not damage
the hose. But it twists like this every time. It looks strange enough to
worry me. I measured the twist with a small caliper (getting it in
there was quite fun). 14mm is as thin as it gets. 17mm is the
measurement at the thickest area of twist. Both are wider than what I
assume the inner diameter is (13mm).

So. Anyone think I need to just trash it and get a new
line? Or is this okay? I'm unsure. Never dealt with a line like this.

                Thanks!
