The barb is going straight into the pan, as is the tube. I could take a
photo, but it's not really gonna be helpful. Just a tube and the pan.

The tube actually wants to point toward the crank pulley. Being angled that
way would relieve the stress. But there's no room for it to point that way
really. And the rubber hose would have to be pretty long to get it over
there.

I've had it in and out of the car some more. I've had it in and out of my
bench vise in an effort to bend it a bit to fit. It's not gotten any better.
I'm just gonna call in the morning and buy a new hard line. That should
solve my problems. =)
