Event correction -
Buddy Holly's first recordings were done in his home in 1949. He
signed with Decca Records in February 1956 and made his initial
recordings with them sometime afterward. He was dropped by Decca on
January 22, 1957 after his two singles, "Blue Days, Black Nights" and
"Modern Don Juan" failed to chart.
