Jan 28 Born (well known early rocker) Arthur Rubinstein (1886) Died Freddie Prinze - accidently shot himself (is what my book says....my memory says suicide) (1977) Here's what Wikipedia says: Prinze suffered from *depression*<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Depression_(mood)>, and on January 28, 1977, shot himself with a small semi-automatic pistol after talking on the telephone with his estranged wife. His business manager, Marvin "Dusty" Snyder, tried to intervene, but Prinze shot himself in the head,*[6]* <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freddie_Prinze#cite_note-5>and was rushed to the *UCLA Medical Center* <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UCLA_Medical_Center> to be placed on *life support* <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life_support>following emergency surgery. Prinze's family removed him from life support, and he died at 1 p.m. on (correction from above) January 29. He was 22.
In 1977, the death was ruled a *suicide*<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suicide>.
