1961 Bob Dylan has his first recording session, playing guitar and mouth
harp behind Carolyn Hester's first record for CBS. Producer John
Hammond later signs Dylan. Also found Sept 28 as the date. No confirmation.
1963 The Rolling Stones begin their first theatre tour, of Great Britain,
headlined
by the Everly Brothers and Bo Diddley, and eventually Little Richard,
performing
in London and Cambridge. The Stones are listed as the eighth act out of 11.
