1987 – Bruce *Springsteen* plays his first ever show behind the Iron

1989 – Residents of Washington, Connecticut, form a Roll the Stones Out of 
Town action group after The Rolling Stones and their entourage set 
themselves up in town for rehearsals for their upcoming Steel Wheels Tour, 
with residents claiming “it’s like the army has moved in and taken over,” 
with security guards stopping locals and asking them what they’re doing 
there.

1990 – On her 49th birthday, Vikki Carr helps dedicate the Nixon 
Presidential Library, singing in front of all four living presidents - 
Nixon, Carter, Reagan, and George H.W. Bush - all of which she had 
performed for at the White House during their terms.

1991 – Former drummer for Guns 'N Roses, Steven Adler files suit against 
the band for wrongful termination and getting him hooked on hard drugs.

2010 – Ozzy Osbourne and his former Black Sabbath band mate Tony Iommi 
settle their long-running legal dispute over the use of the group's name, 
after Ozzy filed suit against the guitarist in May of 2009, accusing Iommi 
of falsely proclaiming to be the sole owner of the Black Sabbath name by 
lodging an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
