1959 – Already two months pregnant, 17-year old Carole King marries her 
songwriting partner Gerry Goffin. They stay married for nine years, 
producing two children and countless hit songs.

1961 – Gene Chandler records “Duke Of Earl” in Chicago.

1961 – Brenda Lee records "Fool #1" and "Break It To Me Gently" at Owen 
Bradley's Quonset Hut studio in Nashville.

1961 – The Paris Sisters release their single, “I Love How You Love Me” b/w

1962 – The Beatles make their third appearance at the Riverpark Ballroom in
