I know how to do it.  Most stations don't and, in addition, they hire 
young/cheap.  That's another surefire way to guarantee you'll lose.  If 
your programming music department doesn't know the MUSIC and the AUDIENCE 
you're a goner...sooner or later.
 
N. American music radio is pure unadulterated shit.  N American talk radio 
is even worse.  The number of exceptions wouldn't use up all of your 
fingers.  A pox on those assholes who collectively ruined an industry...and 
they did it just for the shareholders who'll end up owning stock in 
suddenly worthless companies.  We're almost there now.
